2. We’ll reach out

We’ll be in touch to discuss your specific requirements, including the type of waste materials you need to dispose of and whether there is any need to arrange a special skip for asbestos, or asbestos-contaminated waste. We’ll also answer any questions you may have around the type and size of bin and its location onsite.

3. Receive a quote from us

Once we’re clear on your location and the size and type of bin you need, we’ll send you a quote offering a flat rate that includes delivery, collection, tipping and GST.

4. Book your skip bin

All that’s left to do is accept the quote, and we’ll lock in your delivery date. Depending on the availability of skip bins, we are usually able to deliver within 24 hours of booking.

How much does skip bin hire in Brisbane cost?

Skip bin hire pricing depends on the bin size you choose, the type of waste going in it, and where you are in the Greater Brisbane area. At Magic Bins, you’ll get a flat-rate quote that covers delivery, collection, tipping and GST — no surprise fees at the end. Bins range from 2 m³ up to 12 m³, so you only pay for the capacity you actually need. Call 07 3829 9457 or request a quote online and we’ll price the right bin for your job.

What size skip bin do I need?

As a rough guide, a 2 m³ or 3 m³ bin suits a garage clean-out or small garden tidy-up, 4 m³ to 6 m³ works well for a bathroom renovation or full house declutter, and 8 m³ to 12 m³ is better suited to larger renovations, deceased estate clearances and builders’ waste. If you’re unsure, our team can talk through what you’re throwing out and recommend a size. Bins with a rear door are also available in 4 m³, 6 m³ and 8 m³ if you need to walk heavy items in rather than lift them over the side.

How quickly can you deliver a skip bin in Brisbane?

Once you’ve accepted your quote, we’ll lock in a delivery date — and depending on bin availability, we can usually deliver within 24 hours of booking. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. Booking a day or two ahead is always a good idea during busy renovation and moving periods.

Which Brisbane suburbs do you deliver skip bins to?

We deliver from our depot at Acacia Ridge across most southern and western suburbs, all bayside suburbs south of the Brisbane River, and as far north as The Gap and Chermside. We also service East Ipswich (including Redbank Plains and Springfield), Logan City, Redland City, and the northern Gold Coast down to Helensvale and Logan Village. If you’re not sure whether we reach your street, give us a call and we’ll confirm.

What can and can't go in a skip bin?

We have dedicated bins for general waste, light builders’ waste, 100% green waste, 100% concrete, heavy mixed materials, soil and asbestos. Keeping waste types separated usually works out cheaper, since clean loads like green waste and concrete can be recycled rather than sent to landfill. Asbestos and asbestos-contaminated waste must go in a specially arranged bin and cannot be mixed with anything else — let us know upfront and we’ll organise the right skip. Hazardous items such as chemicals, paint, batteries, gas bottles and tyres aren’t accepted in standard bins.
